A Look at the GFIA Fringe Event at FinTech Week London 2024

This Monday (10th June 2024), the GFIA Fringe event at FinTech Week London 2024 brought together over 90 professionals to dive into the future of finance and explore Gibraltar’s unique stance on alternative investment funds and digital assets.

The evening was not only informative but also filled with lively networking and engaging activities. Attendees enjoyed a friendly game of ping pong, which served as the perfect icebreaker and set the tone for a relaxed yet productive evening.

Martin Boczek from Wincent and James Lasry from Hassans both spoke to the audience and set the scene to what Gibraltar can offer as a jurisdiction. Martin spoke on how Gibraltar has contributed to the success of Wincent and why they set up in Gibraltar, while James elaborated on why Gibraltar stands out as a premier jurisdiction for funds. Their combined expertise and real life experience provided attendees with a deeper understanding of the opportunities and advantages that Gibraltar offers in the financial sector.
